    Cyberspace Strategic Planning and Policy Analyst

    Conduct research, analysis, and coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for training and exercises in support of cyberspace operations at the national, DoD, Service, and Command level.

    Demonstrate technical expertise on executive-level projects, analyses, and assessments. Provide analytical support for the development of future strategies, policies, and doctrine, governing cyberspace operations training and exercises. Provide analysis to interagency and coalition policy formulations on cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and equities are accurately represented. Maintain awareness of and report significant cyber-related policy issues affecting the DoD. Provide concise, actionable communications to senior officials, both written and orally. Perform analysis and critical thinking, assesses programmatic issues, conduct risk analysis, and propose innovative and achievable solutions.
    10+ years of experience as a cyberspace strategic planning and policy analyst
    Experience with identifying misaligned structures or documentation in the policy and guidance landscape, across all levels, and overlaps, gaps, and seams which impede or may conflict with DoD execution of the cyberspace mission set
    Experience with logical frameworks and structures to optimize the DoD guidance landscape and to clarify linkages to interagency and national frameworks and guidance
    Experience with existing Joint cyberspace policies, assessing complex programmatic issues, conducting risk analysis, and proposing innovative and achievable solutions
    Experience with leading Joint Planning Groups in the Joint Planning Process to generate Joint Force development strategies and plans for the Cyberspace Operations Force
    Knowledge of the comprehensive cyberspace mission set and topics extending from underlying network structures, standards, and cybersecurity through operational planning and execution, including workforce development, Cyberspace Operations Force training and development, force and strategic readiness, capability development and acquisition, intelligence, authorities, legislation, regulation, partnership, and governance
    Ability to research, analyze, assess, and examine existing frameworks for DoD, interagency, national, and international cyberspace-related policy, orders, directives, doctrine, strategy, and guidance
    Ability to conduct analysis of existing guidance and directive documentation to identify overlaps, gaps, and seams between policies and guidance issued by independent authorities and provide recommendations for revisions, updates, resolution, or rescission
    Bachelor's degree
    5+ years of experience with strategic or operational planning and programming
    Ability to develop reports and briefings on policy, strategy, and doctrine activities
    Bachelor's degree in Policy, Strategy, Military History, Government, Cybersecurity, Cyberspace Operations, or a related field
    Graduate of Professional Military Education in JPME 2, SAMS, SAWS, SAAS, or JAWS

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
