    The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for a Business Analyst for an onsite/hybrid- full time opportunity.

    Day to day duties include; performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, gap analysis, defining user requirements and development specifications, and assistance with UAT (user acceptance testing).


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate closely with stakeholders (both internal and external) to understand their requirements, objectives, and challenges

    This involves active listening and effective communication

    Gather and document business requirements, processes, and workflows. This step is crucial for creating a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved


    Functional Specifications:
    Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring that technical teams have a clear understanding of what needs to be built

    Effectively communicate with, and influence, key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements, and operational decisions

    Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure that implemented solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality

    Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and technology teams, to ensure alignment and successful solution design

    Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to overall organizational effectiveness

    Propose innovative solutions and creating detailed documentation (such as business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories)

    Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and accountability


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.

    5 years of verifiable experience as a Business Analyst

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    Familiarity with traditional and Agile project management methodologies and software development lifecycles

    Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc

    Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous
