    Description
    Duties


    • Serves as IT Specialist (Systems Analysis) in the Production Design and Integration Branch (Mission Operations Directorate)
    • Applies analytical process to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved intelligence production information systems to meet the business requirements.
    • Coordinates the planning, development and implementation between the customer and the developers.
    • Identifies, maintains, documents and develops technical specifications, systems and business processes.
    • Develops web based software applications and applications on the ServiceNow platform (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
    • Develops, coordinates, and executes user acceptance testing events and thoroughly tests software to ensure requirements are met.
    • Coordinates software release with stakeholders.
    • Provides application and end user support, identifying and resolving problems, develops reports and identifies new features
    Requirements Conditions of Employment


    • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
    • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

    One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience performing system analysis duties such as: 1) designing systems / applications and defining and documenting software requirements; 2) developing web based software applications, including web page layout and writing and maintaining HTML, XML, and JavaScript; AND 3) solving users' problems, addressing technical issues, and providing guidance on how to use the applications; implementing new and/or improved IT systems to meet mission requirements; as well as coordinating IT plans, installation, configuration, and/or testing of system environments to support IT architecture; applying systems engineering concepts and/or methods to ensure optimization and integration of the installation
    For this position, individuals must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below
