    Key Responsibilities:


    • Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
    • Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
    • Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders.

    Certifications/Requirements: 
    Bachelor's degree or one year of general work experience demonstrating decision-making skills.
    Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly desirable but not required
    We also require age restrictions as per federal law enforcement retirement provisions; candidates must be referred before turning 40 years old;
    Veterans' Preference Eligible can get exempted from these requirements,

    In addition, your application should include relevant coursework taken during college if desired by applicants having prior military service which may help qualify them at higher grade levels than stated above once referred successfully against any further openings announced later down line after passing first round interview processes without need showing transcripts etc..
