    How you'll make an impactPrimary Function:

    The Commercial Lines Account Manager I is responsible for and/or supports the delivery of exceptional service to our commercial property and casualty clients.

    This individual assists the senior servicing staff and/or sales professional in managing the clients exposure to risk and coordinates services for the development, retention and rounding of accounts.

    Typically reports to a department manager. Typically assigned to small or mid-sized accounts with minimal complexity.


    Primary Responsibilities:


    With supervision, informs and educates, answers questions, resolves issues, and makes decisions regarding the need for the implementation of coverage and modifications to clients coveragesProvides, directly or indirectly, the necessary customer service for assigned accounts, including correspondence and communication with customers, sales professionals and insurance carriers.

    Partners with sales professional(s) and marketing on new/renewal business strategy including the coordination of roles and the obtaining of information.

    Markets new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions to the marketing department.

    Maintains accurate and up-to-date data in the agency management system according to agency workflows.
    Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review according to agency workflows.
    Verifies new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, coverages and other relevant information. Inputs transactions to generate billing invoices. Ensures that policies are delivered and/or mailed to clients in a timely manner.
    Coordinates clients needs with the support team regarding the issuance of binders, certificates and evidence of property.
    Pursues prompt client payment in coordination with the sales professional.

    Develops positive client relationships by being a point of contact for assigned clients and by maintaining open lines of communication.

    May travel to the client's site as necessary.

    Interacts with others effectively and professionally by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.

    About YouRequired:
    Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience
    • OR
    • High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
    Producer's License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


    Preferred:
    Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships
