    The Procurement Agent plays a critical role in our organization by efficiently and effectively managing, tracking and providing management reports regarding Approved vs Actual Spend.

    This position is responsible for ensuring that the company's needs are met at the best possible value, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.

    Key Essential Functions and Duties

    Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or service.

    Ensure cost compliance with approved budgets.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to understand needs and align procurement strategies.

    Act as a liaison between procurement and other departments.

    Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

    Conduct market research and analysis to identify new vendors and cost-saving opportunities.

    Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.

    Prepare and present procurement reports to management as required.

    Identify and evaluate equipment and service needs.

    Research, source and negotiate pricing for equipment, services, and supplies.

    Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains up-to-date and competitive.

    Maintain relationships, resolve disputes and issues, and communicate with vendors.

    Negotiate contracts, terms, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings and maximize value.

    Essential Skills and Requirements
    Experience

    5+ years of procurement experience.

    Previous analytical experience in management reporting

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

    Skills
    Should demonstrate abilities in the following areas:

    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.

    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
