- Assess each call situation to determine the best course of actionwhile working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize your Paramedic skills on medicalequipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor,oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provideadvanced medical care.
- Communicate withpatient s and loved ones to provide information and assurance thatcare is being given.
- Act as Paramedic teamleader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management asneeded.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
- Work collaboratively andin a professional manner with all allied health and public safetypersonnel as well as you r fellow Paramedics.
- Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image andestablish strong community relations.
- High school diplomaor equivalent (GED)
