    We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team in Decatur, GA. The Facility Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for managing projects when installing new assets or upgrading existing assets within the facilities and properties. The Facility Engineer will support maintenance activities by troubleshooting problems with rotating equipment, electrical equipment and control, automation systems, facility maintenance and upgrades. The position will develop plans to increase the equipment reliability for assets and operational availability.

    Facility Maintenance Engineer to provide service and repairs to factory equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint, and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum efficiency while complying with all company's policies.

    MUSHT HAVE: Facility maintenance, general electrical, plumbing, and constructions, mechanically incline, and general HVAC experience.

    SUMMARY: Maintain facility and factory equipment, equipment installation, and general facility construction and buildouts.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
    • Handle all repairs of equipment including industrial blending/mixer, bottling lines, motors, starters, breakers, plumbing, chillers, HVAC, electrical, and associated equipment throughout the entire building/property.
    • Respond to team's calls regarding maintenance of equipment in a timely manner to prevent production stalling or delays.
    • Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, flood, etc.
    • Basic constructions as needed
    • Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
    • Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
    • Developing processing plans and optimizing resource allocation.
    • Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules, documentation, and activities.
    • Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
    • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
    • Service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, pumps, exhaust fans, air handlers, mini split AC units, boilers and all associated valves and controllers.
    • Coordinate the inspection and replacement of air filters, belts, bearings, and water filtration equipment.
    • Service electrical switchgear in main distribution panels, automatic transfer switches, uninterrupted power supplies and lighting control distribution panels.
    • Service, maintain and repair lighting fixtures, switches, receptacles, motor control devices and locate and diagnose electrical system issues with a variety of electrical test equipment.
    • Install, repair, or replace conduit and wiring in accordance with local codes. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications as applicable to trade specific MEP infrastructure.
    • Coordinate, with the Maintenance Mechanics, plumbing repairs on all bathroom fixtures and valves both manual and automatic including toilets lavatories and urinals. Coordinate the service all drain lines and operation of drain cleaning machines, augers and water jet drain cleaning equipment
    • With the use of a maintenance management system, administer maintenance procedures and develop intervals for all machinery, record all service and repairs, manage work orders and special projects, and maintain inventory on parts and consumables.

    To be successful in this role you will need:

    • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in a facility maintenance engineering role
    • Proficiency in reading and creating facility related documents and schematics
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with industrial processes and equipment, such as pumps, motors, and valves, and furnaces is a PLUS.
    • Familiarity with working in a PSM facility
    • Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
