Part Time Preschool Intervention & Referral Specialist AND Social Worker

Requirements:

• NJ School Social Worker Certification required
• Experience with special education and/or early childhood education preferred

Job Description:

• Provide support and recommend interventions to preschool teachers, families, and other Early Childhood personnel so that all children can succeed within the general education classroom.
• Coordinate PIRT team meetings and intervention plans, supports teachers and parents with implementation of plans, take/keep notes and data to measure efficacy.
• Confer with early childhood staff, CST, and families to plan for smooth transitions for children entering preschool or going to kindergarten.
