Job description
As a Beverage Coordinator, you will work closely with our VP Supply Chain and Director of Operations. The role will focus on streamlining JINYA's beverage program by optimizing distribution processes, strategic sourcing, programming and organization of Beverage Partner Programs. Your administrative expertise will be essential in sku management, alignment across all restaurants, and support in all menu initiatives with partners.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Project Support:
Organize the administrative side of the overall Beverage Program. This will include sourcing, gathering information such as tier pricing, availability of product by state, organizing distributors across all markets, identifying gaps in availability, and so forth. - Responsible for various projects as needed by the team.
- Reporting & Analysis:
Generate regular reports on beverage sales, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory turnover across all locations. - Rebate Tracking - Assist in gathering volume data required to claim supplier rebates or marketing fund accruals.
- Procurement Support:
Administer beverage procurement processes by verifying distributor invoices against contract pricing. - Sourcing & Special Projects:
Source beverages, products, and/or alternative smallwares (glassware, bar tools) as directed by the company's needs. - Menu Implementation:
Support in the administrative function of introducing new beverage menus and seasonal promotions by ensuring all locations have the necessary ingredients, glassware, and updated POS keys (Aloha/Toast/Other). - Vendor Liaison:
Maintain communication with beverage partners/distributors to ensure product availability and supportive relationships. - Data & Reporting:
Consolidate weekly sales data and depletion reports for the VP of Supply Chain to assist in forecasting and budgeting.
Qualifications
- High comfort level with Excel (v-lookups/pivot tables) for inventory analysis
- 1–2 years in high-volume casual dining or a logistics/supply chain role
- Logistical mindset
- Great communication skills, comfortable interacting with high level beverage distributors, vendors, partners and bartenders
- Proficient with Aloha, Toast or Other POS
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple vendor relationships and location-specific needs.
- Regulatory Knowledge, familiar with state and local liquor laws and food safety standards.
- Education:
High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Hospitality, or Business is a plus.
