- Managing all security disciplines within an accredited lab environment.
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Assessing the effectiveness of implemented physical security controls to ensure adequate protection measures are in place to prevent authorized access into the environment.
- Managing access roster and issuing identification badges.
- Conducting self-inspections twice a year using the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency inspection checklist.
- Attending staff call meetings to synchronize security efforts and provide mission updates.
- Assisting with conducting investigations of Security Infractions/Violations to determine sequence of events and degree of information compromise, root cause, and culpability on the part of the individuals or organizations involved.
- Making classification determinations to ensure material is properly marked.
- Responding to after hour alarm activations that occur within the lab environment
- An active Secret security clearance with a Tier 3 investigation.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Industrial Security Oversight (SOC) certification.
- Working knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- An active Top Secret security clearance with a Tier 5 investigation
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor of Science in Security Management or Criminal Justice.
- DoD Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC) or DoD Physical Security Certification (PSC).
- American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
- Prior experience as a Government Security Specialist or Contractor Program Security Officer

Estimated Salary Range:
$96,000 - $110,000 The provided salary range serves as a broad reference
