Job Summary
The Research Scientist will report to the Technical Director but may report to another member of Technology Management as required.
Responsibilities
- Conducts and completes assigned research projects: Defines research objectives milestones timelines Writes concise research project proposals for Technical Director review approval Ensures project research is conducted consistent with project objectives milestones timelines Effectively manages project resources Communicates progress toward project objectives milestones timelines to Technical Director Company Management Recommends revisions in project objectives milestones timelines Analyzes experimental data generates scientifically valid conclusions recommendations Provides timely written reports describing progress toward project objectives milestones timelines Provides timely final project report upon completion Works with Technology Company Management identifies Intellectual Property derived from research results Supervises one more members Support Staff including direction daily activities data review coaching coaching counseling performance feedback Remains current relevant scientific literature intellectual property landscape Develops maintains competitive intelligence areas Directly supports Technology Company Management defining new projects potential new areas development Maintains accurate lab records accordance policies Ensures hygienic environment participating cleanliness organization tasks Supports adheres all company policies safety chemical hygiene environment
