    Description
    Perform maintenance and construction work on the college physical facilities

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Operation of Power Plant and associated equipment.
    • Record keeping on water treatment chillers generators and power plant equipment.
    • Perform all types of repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and HVAC equipment.
    • Required to keep facilities in operation and good repair.
    • Assist in determining needs and submit purchase requests for parts and equipment.
    • Assist in planning and carrying out of maintenance preventive maintenance and construction programs.
    • Other related duties as assigned.

    Education Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent,plus specialized maintenance training.

    Experience Requirements:
    Three years in maintenance.
    Must be able to obtain a class D license.


    Knowledge:
    Electrical,mechanical,plumbing,carpentry trades,and state and local building code requirements through experience and/or specialized training.
    Knowledge of Energy Management computer and HVAC controls.


    Skills:
    Ability to perform electrical,mechanical,plumbing and carpentry work.


    Personal Requirements:
    Ability to get along with others.
