    JOB PURPOSE:


    As a Logistics Team Leader at McDonough Logistics Center at Caterpillar Inc., you will be responsible for new hire orientation training related to PQVC format in our Greenwood logistics operations.

    In addition to process improvement/training with standard work throughout facilities.
    Facility is located at 146 Greenwood Industrial Parkway, McDonough, GA, 30253


    Responsibilities :


    • Forklift Training
    • New and Current employees safety coaching
    • WorkDay Required learning Owner
    • Teaching New Hire Training Curriculum
    • Provide resolution for assigned Continuous Improvement (CI) cards
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Possess a high degree of initiative
    • Time management skills
    • Must be a team player and work well in a team environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient in computer skills
    • Self-starter motivated towards continuous improvement
    • Experience interpreting prints and assembly planning documentation
    • Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours when needed for training responsibilities (Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10:00pm)
    • Occasionally lift parts up to 50 pounds individually and infrequently up to 100 pounds as a team
    • Occasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks
    • Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed
    • Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks

    Desired Qualifications

    • Excellent work ethic, attitude, and people skills
    • Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access

    Position details:

    • Hiring for 1st Shift:
    Monday- Friday (5:00am to 1:30pm)

    • Hourly range $
    • Quarterly bonus up to 12%
    • 6% 401K match
