- Train all system users specifically - System Administrators, Security Managers, Site Chiefs, System Security Administrators, and Deployable users.
- Provide a classroom environment, equipment, and software ready for the trainees; maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the system.
- Keep all training course materials, practical exercises, and examinations current, and ensure the training software suite reflects the current fielded configuration.
- Develop new courses in response to Government tasking.
- Assist in designing computer-based training modules within system environment.
- Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- An active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience in Instructional Design, curriculum development, and Training; or a master's degree with no years of experience; or a High-school Diploma/GED with six (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- At least one (1+) or more years of experience using learning and development methods, developing creative eLearning content, and familiarity with eLearning platforms and practices (i.e
- Must be capable of relating technical data to non-technical mid-level military officers and DOD civilians.
- Familiarity and experience with Instructional Design techniques and development.
- Good organizational skills along with strong written, presentation and excellent verbal communications skills to include experience in the development and delivery of training course materials
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related+ discipline and four (4) years of relevant experience, or master's degree and two (2) years of experience, or High-school Diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a motivated Technical Training/Instructional Designer to join our team at our Landover, MD office
Our program provides full life cycle support for a large Information Technology (IT) system for the Department of Defense (DoD)
This program delivers full life-cycle engineering support for all system elements including Development (hardware, software, and networks), Systems and Security Engineering (Integration, testing and Deployment), Sustainment (Logistics, and field support), Network Operations Center (NOC)/Help Desk, and Government user training support for user community

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000
