- Must have basic understanding of the computer software such as SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, approves payroll and enters near misses into industry safe
- Required to perform rounds to insure performance expectations are being met throughout the shift
- Understanding of key performance indicators (KPI) and conducts huddles when needed
- High School Diploma or GED plus one year of technical training or equivalent experience
- Ability to develop strong working relations with co workers
- Working knowledge of the production process and metal fabrication machines
- Working knowledge of the equipment, materials, methods and practices used in production operations
- Working knowledge of related safety requirements to include proper use of safety equipment and proper safety precautions such as lights, guards, switches, etc.
- Must be able to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions

Spherion Staffing has a Shift Lead position available in the Detroit Lakes, MN area. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing candidate to fill this role.The Shift Lead will assist the Leader in maintaining a safe, respectful, and efficient work environment where employees can produce a quality product.
He/she will efficiently direct employees to their next task at hand and set a good example by demonstrating a safe, effective, and efficient work ethic.
Monday-Friday 3pm-11 pm or 11 pm-7 amPay $20-25/hour DOE + 30% differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
