Manager seeking Chemical regulation experience
mgr seeking less HSE field experience and more documentation or chemical regulatory (OSHA, FIFRA (pesticides)) experience.
Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Compiling and distributing both electronically and manually a large number of chemical product files. Record-keeping, indexing, and scanning.
Reporting progress on internal and external inquiries. Handles communication with colleagues about planning and coordination. Contributes to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 months to complete, and the results are seen immediately or within 1 month.
Required qualifications:
The individual must
1) possess very good, working knowledge of MS Office suite applications, Adobe Acrobat/Nuance PDF converter or similar applications;
2) be willing to work with quite large size of data and be able to generate reports;
3) have excellent file management skills,
4) be able to manage well conflicting priorities and deadlines.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least several years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
Desired qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Familiarity with FIFRA related tasks (State level labeling and registration) and OSHA's safety data sheets (SDS) is a plus.
