Within the role, the Specialist will use HR general practice knowledge to guide new team members through the new hire process.
What You'll DoDeliver exceptional onboarding experience to regional employees by providing top-notch customer service from offer acceptance to 90 days post-hire
Manage the entire onboarding process for new hires in assigned region, including arranging a pre-employment screening, scheduling orientation, and ensuring that all pre-hire paperwork and process is complete before the start date
Act as point of contact for new hires to answer questions and drive engagement throughout onboarding
Assist in scheduling appropriate orientation dates for new hires
Assist in communicating IT needs to appropriate parties
Review pre-employment screening results and communicate any outliers
Set up an initial profile in the HR database
Proactively engage in interdepartmental communication to provide ongoing status of new-hire onboarding
Follow up with new hires for at least the first 90 days of employment to ensure satisfaction as a new employee
Requirements
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
Human resources: 3 years (Preferred)
Onboarding: 1 year (Preferred)
UKG/Kronos: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale
Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
