- Willingness to work harmoniously with staff, clients, and clients families.
- Legal resident of the U.S.
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to interpret the clients provided plan of care
- Valid California Drivers License, Clean Driving Record with no more than 2 moving violations, and a dependable Vehicle with Current Auto Insurance is required for most positions. Some exceptions may apply.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must
- California law requires all caregivers to pass a background check with the Department of Justice and FBI (via LiveScan fingerprint process). A fair amount of people knowingly or unknowingly are already cleared and we can easily help you check. If not, it's a simple process we'll walk you through
- Must be COVID vaccinated

Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. Seniors Helping Seniors caregivers also help with daily tasks like personal care, light house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, grocery shopping, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimers and Dementia.
We are looking for caregivers that are interested in learning and growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our Companion Caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.
