    Responsibilities:

    As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:

    • Bank Statement Management: Pull daily bank statements for transaction details.
    • Cash Receipt Posting: Perform all duties to post premium cash receipts, including opening mail, depositing checks, and coding deposits in the accounting system.
    • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank deposits to the accounting system and daily/monthly cash log.
    • Premium Cash Audit: Audit all premium cash receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness for the premium department to process disbursements.
    • Issue Resolution: Research accounts receivable inquiries and resolve outstanding issues.
    • Debit Coding Support: Support team lead in correctly coding all banking debits, such as NSF and return items.
    • Reporting: Maintain accurate reporting of all premiums received for Account Management.
    • Special Tasks and Projects: Complete special tasks and projects as necessary.
    Qualifications

    To excel in this role, you'll need:
    Relevant Experience: 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

    • Educational Background: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks/multi-task.
    • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties.
    • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
    • Time Management: Proven ability to effectively manage time, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
    • Independence and Multitasking: Work independently in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Sense of Urgency and Attention to Detail: Exhibit a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
