Job description
The Aptus Group is seeking a compassionate and dependable Instructional Aide to support a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classroom at one of our partner schools in the Compton, CA area. In this role, you will assist with daily instructional activities, student supervision, and classroom routines while helping create a safe and supportive learning environment for young learners.
Pay Rate: $22 per hour
Location: Compton, CA 90221
Schedule: Part Time (School Operating Hours)

Requirements:
*
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required
*
Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting preferred
*
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*
Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
*
Support the TK teacher with daily instructional activities and learning centers
*
Provide one-on-one and small group academic, social, and behavioral support
*
Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources
*
Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitions
*
Provide toileting assistance, including diapering and clothing changes as needed
*
Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and health protocols
*
Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development
