    About the Role

    This role focuses on business and relationship development.

    As a key member of our Relationship Leaders team, you'll identify and develop new client relationships, create proposals, and manage engagements.

    You'll be responsible for leading client relationships, but will be supported by cross-functional teams.

    We want you to be successful in our high-touch, relationship-based business.

    Requirements

    Candidates should have:

    • Deep professional relationships in the food & beverage industry
    • A proven track record of success in product innovation
    • The ability to work independently and take initiative
    • A bias toward hands-on work and problem-solving
    • Comfort selling all of our services one-on-one
    • Skills in delivering world-class client and project management
    • Enthusiasm for innovative techniques like Generative AI

    Experience in a similar role is ideal.

    Desired Skills

    • Business Development: A proven track record of leveraging network and personal outreach to identify and develop new client relationships
    • Leadership: Ability to successfully lead client relationships and internal teams
    • Creativity: Demonstrated success in conceiving compelling new product ideas
    • Business Analytics: Ability to view and frame opportunities from the client's perspective
    • Broad Proficiency: Ability to design, sell, and direct work across all of Mattson's practice areas

    About You

    BA/BS required, MBA preferred.

    At least 15 years of relevant experience in the food & beverage industry is necessary.

    Flexibility and collaboration skills are essential.

    Excellent communication skills are required.

    Travel may be necessary.
