    • Practice Detail: Ascension Wisconsin is currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, mission-driven Medical Director for our Women's Health Service Line. The Medical Director will be responsible for co-leading the Women's Health Service Line with a Dyad partner. The Medical Director will serve to oversee physicians and APPs within women's health care space across our market, which includes 17 acute care hospitals and over 100 ambulatory care locations. The part-time Medical Director role will be complemented by a part-time clinical role to make up a full-time position.

    Opportunity to co-lead the management of a statewide Women's Health program along with a Dyad partner and our employed medical group (Ascension Medical Group) Administration.

    • Plan and direct medical policies and programs
    • Define and achieve financial targets in support of business goals
    • Facilitate strategic clinical relationships with physicians.
    • Work with leadership to develop a strategic plan for growth of clinical practice.
    • Ensure that clinical programs are in compliance with governmental and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement utilization review and quality improvement systems.
    • Implement educational programs and offerings.
    • May provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
    • Consult with planning and operations leadership in new program development. Supervise any assigned medical/resident programs.
    • Evaluate organizational functions and structure to best determine the allocation and utilization of services

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • One or more of the following required:
      • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Podiatrist credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Education:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
