    Job Description

    We are seeking a Special Event Manager-NAMIWalks (National Alliance on Mental Illness), to join our team You will be responsible for organizing this which will be held on September 28, 2024. All duties are performed in conjunction and with guidance with NAMI National.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate all event activities and volunteers
    • Solicit Corporate and Personal Sponsorships
    • Solicit Walker Team Captains, conduct training meetings
    • Distribute all Walk information and supplies to Team Captains
    • Calculate and propose budgets for the Walk
    • Research and identify ways to successful promote event
    • Maintain stock of event supplies

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
    • Strong project managing skills
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Ability to work well in teams
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
