Job summary
We are looking for a junior data analyst to join the Cortez laboratory in the Department of Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh.The analysts will work closely with Dr. Victor S. Cortez , Assistant Professor, and the members of the Cortez lab.
- Data Analysis: Perform data preprocessing, quality control, and statistical analysis of biological datasets.
- Coding and Programming: Utilize programming languages such as Python or R to implement NGS (bulk or single cell) data analysis pipelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with immunologists and computational scientists to effectively integrate bioinformatics analysis into research projects.
