Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level III Trauma Center in Twin Falls, ID to find a dedicated Inpatient Neuro/Ortho Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dynamic team.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven RN to play a vital role in a fast-paced, Level III Trauma Center. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation care for patients recovering from a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans, focusing on maximizing functional recovery and promoting independence.
• Implement rehabilitation interventions prescribed by the physician, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance.
• Educate and empower patients and their families in the rehabilitation process.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and neurological status, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Maintain a safe and positive patient care environment.
• Foster collaboration and communication with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Idaho RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a neuro/ortho rehab setting, acute care setting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of neurological and orthopedic conditions, rehabilitation principles, and best practices.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are mandatory.
