    Jack in the Box Inc seeks a Sr. Food Safety Analyst for in San Diego, CA.

    Duties include Responsible for the acquisition, interpretation, management, and communication of key restaurant food safety performance information; Works cross functionally to develop tools such as dashboards using analytic information and recommends operational processes to mitigate food safety risk based on analytic insights; Responsible for the development and delivery of routine and special request restaurant food safety performance communication, information, and presentations; Interprets internal food safety data, monitors trends and provides recommendations for improvement to processes or field execution to the Restaurant Food Safety Manager; Collaborates with the Restaurant Food Safety Manager to develop and implement food safety performance improvement strategies including new processes and programs, in-restaurant assessment and training, routine and special communications, standardized food safety performance field communications; Manages policy and documentation of food safety programs, including creating, reviewing, and maintaining updated policies, procedures, and processes; Leads food safety team as the SME for creation of technology infrastructure inclusive of design, data, and analysis for 3rd party food safety assessment provider; Analyzes data from digital restaurant food safety checks and provides actionable insights to the organization for continuous improvements; Ensures pertinent food safety and regulatory documentation is secured and available upon request; Maintains and supplies data from Third Party Food Safety audit database, regulatory database (HAZEL) and internal database (Riskmaster); Performs daily data analysis and interpretation as the subject matter expert to and from internal leadership and cross functional partners as well as external vendors, ensuring data integrity, identifying gaps, evaluating trends and making recommendations; Participates on cross functional teams providing analysis including JackDNA dashboard reporting, Franchisee newsletters and other internal data presentations; Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.

    Position requires Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related [field plus 18 months experience as Food Safety Compliance Administrator or similar.

    Position also requires restaurant performance auditing and data collection experience; Knowledgeable of general food safety standards; Knowledge of food safety regulatory database ( HAZEL) and Certification in FSPCA Preventative Controls for Human Food.

    Wage range $76,000 to $86,000.
