    Position Description Summary:
    Responsible for conception, development, enhancement, implementation, and management of consistent and cohesive global pricing processes. Includes development of strategy, depth of expertise, and tools to arrive at profitable and attractive pricing proposals.

    Continued focus and development on costing synergies between global pricing teams and centralized product line operations and carrier management teams globally.

    Responsible for development and go-forward management of global Executive Review & Sponsorship process for engaging in and residing over top global opportunities.

    Continued monitoring and enhancement of organizational financial settlement policies and company problems, diverse in scope, to ensure consistency with corporate growth objectives.

    Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): Responsible for preparation of standard and non-standard pricing quotes, RFQs, and RFPs. Development and implementation of consistent and cohesive global pricing processes and strategies (across Americas, AP, and EMEA). Includes full development and ongoing management of Pre-Opportunity and Post-Opportunity Analysis and the tools and modules to support. Design and implement pricing strategies for top global opportunities. Continued enhancement of depth of global pricing team expertise and tools to arrive at profitable and attractive pricing proposals.

    Continued focus on centralized costing integration with global pricing teams through synergies with product line operations and carrier management teams globally.

    Includes coordination of costs, services, and routings. Analyze global pricing performance at the account level while assisting responsible management in managing profitability at the product level.

    Responsible for development and go-forward management of global executive review and sponsorship process for engaging in and residing over top global opportunities.

    Continued monitoring and enhancement of organizational financial settlement policies to ensure consistency with corporate growth objectives. Facilitation of global systems integration supporting the global pricing process and opportunity management endeavor. Participation in strategic customer visits, pricing negotiations, and solutions design functions. Participate in developing market benchmark techniques for global pricing of international transportation.

    Work with local stations, area management, and gateway and field operations as it relates to global pricing processes, strategies, and procedures.

    Facilitate successful development, implementation, and ongoing management of global tariff sets and pricing tools to support global sales. Participate in proactive integration with global supply chain management teams supporting customer synergy.

    Facilitation and management of global pricing action communication (surcharges, rate increases, accessorials, etc.) The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
