    Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our team and help drive enrollment, build community partnerships, and amplify our programs through strategic marketing and outreach.
    Essential Job Functions:
    • Promote customized training programs through outreach, networking events, and community engagement
    • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to identify training needs and opportunities
    • Support sales efforts by assisting with corporate discovery meetings and proposal development
    • Coordinate marketing and outreach campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate promotion of classes
    • Participates in marketing initiatives through Constant Contact campaigns and manage website updates via Finalsite.
    • Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, enrollment tracking, and room assignments
    • Prepare contracts, purchase orders, and materials for instructors and vendors
    • Set up, support, and break down classrooms for on-site and off-site training sessions
    • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, evaluations, and certificates
    • Track and report training revenue, expenses, enrollment data, and support invoicing processes
    • Other duties as assigned
    Education and Experience:
    • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Two (2) or more years of experience in sales support, marketing, training coordination, or administrative support
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with CRM or email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) preferred
    • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating schedules, events, or programs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional outreach and relationship-building
    • Experience handling contracts, purchase orders, invoicing, or basic financial tracking preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively

    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
    • Ability to set up and break down classrooms and training spaces
    • Ability to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment
    • Ability to travel to on-site and off-site training locations as needed
    Compensation and Details:
    • Pay Range: $22.07- $25.96 per hour
    • Schedule: Full-time, Full Year, 261 days per year
    • Employee Group: Non-union hourly
    • Benefits: Full benefits package, including health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. MPSERS provided retirement plan.
    • FLSA: Non-exempt
