- Tax Planning and Tax Law expertise
- Strong understanding of Tax procedure
- Knowledge of corporate, real estate, partnership, securities, and business transactions
- Experience in handling foreign transaction reporting and penalty disputes, including foreign bank accounts and cryptocurrency transactions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients and tax authorities
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tax Attorney at McMahon & Tivnan, PC. As a Tax Attorney, you will be responsible for defending IRS and state tax matters, advising clients on tax considerations for transactions, and assisting with foreign transaction reporting and penalty disputes. This position will be based in Boston, MA, with flexibility for remote work.
