- We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Controller to ensure the integrity of financial operations and support strategic financial decision-making.
- Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a vital role in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions to maintain accurate and timely transaction processing.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities to support organizational goals.
- Assist with external audits and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
