    As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for adult patients.

    You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing skills, and conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.

    Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    You will also educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and available treatment options, while maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment records.

    Your typical day will include direct patient care, interdisciplinary team meetings, and ongoing communication with patients and families. You will work with a diverse caseload, helping adults regain effective communication and swallowing abilities.

    The assignment offers a consistent schedule with 8-hour day shifts, allowing you to enjoy all that Winter Haven has to offer after work.

    Required qualifications include a current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, experience in diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and strong communication and organizational skills.

    Experience in skilled nursing settings and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems are preferred.
