Director of Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care - Albuquerque, United States - Atlanta Regional Commission
Description
Directs the overall operation of the NeuRoads NM Rehab Program a Division of ARCA under the direction of the Clinical Services Director and the CEO of ARCA.
This position is responsible for the development, marketing, and management of treatment programs for people living with acquired brain injuries, and the operations of the NeuRoads NM Rehab staff, ARCA Janitorial Services, and ARCA Smart Travel Program.
The Director is responsible for securing funding, developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans with clear goals, objectives, and cost proposals for each person served through the NeuRoads NM Division.
The Director knows and follows all Federal, State and local Regulations required to run a Brain Injury program in New Mexico.
This position takes ownership of emergent or crises situations to ensure health and safety and achieve positive outcomes for staff and persons served.
This person shall have the demonstrated ability to de-escalate, re-direct, and intervene with persons living with acquired brain injuries; provides hands-on support and training as needed to achieve positive outcomes.
The Director possesses the ability to coordinate rehabilitation services for all participants.This position represents ARCA and maintains good, productive, and professional working relationships with the general public, professional organizations, Medical Directors and governmental bodies.
The Director is responsible for maintaining accurate records of program function for regular review and evaluation. Is responsible for developing long-range and short-range goals, growth strategies, program objectives and evaluation procedures for all services. Works with the CFO to develop and implement sound fiscal guidelines and fiscal management practices.The Director is responsible for administering project budgets, ensuring accurate accounting of revenues and expenditures, accurate and timely billing of services, and meeting or exceeding annual NeuRoads NM Division budget parameters.
This position is responsible for overall safety, health and risk management within the NeuRoads NM Division.The Director works with the Quality Team to develop, track, and meet all stoplight metrics, ensuring remediation of all underperforming metrics for the NeuRoads NM Division.
This position is responsible for ensuring employee and volunteer supervision in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, and ARCA Policies and Procedures, including equal employment opportunity and affirmative action and works collaboratively with the Human Resources Director/Team to achieve stated objectives.
The Director works with the President/CEO to implement ARCA's vision, mission, values and strategic plan and performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or the President/CEO.
Qualifications:
Possess a Master's degree from an accredited institution as a Licensed Advanced Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant. A Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Clinical Social work will be considered;
Possess demonstrated, successful, management experience of twenty people or more for five or more years; Must have knowledge of Long-Term Care and Long-Term Supports.
