POSITION TITLE:
Production Supervisor

REPORTS TO:
Plant Manager

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Oversees Production team during assigned shift, ensuring tasks are completed following guidelines. Optimizes production processes and material consumption.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary oversight of production operations and staff
Enforcement of procedures
Maintenance of product quality
Efficient utilization of labor, production lines, and materials
Implementation of Company policies
Promotion of cross-shift and inter-departmental communication
Adherence to plant safety regulations, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Accountable for Food Safety standards

EDUCATION:
Preferred:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in plastics or packaging industry
Preferred: 5-10 years managing diverse teams in medium to large technical plastic thermoforming and extrusion processes

SKILLS:
Required:
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; strong writing, computer, and presentation skills; firm commitment to safety; Basic equipment knowledge
Preferred:
Basic understanding of HDPE and PP processing; familiarity with dry offset Printing Technologies
