KLR Executive Search is proud to partner with a leading Boston-based Investment Manager on a search for an Associate to join their Financial Reporting team.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with team members, third-party administrators, and external auditors to guarantee the precise and punctual delivery of audited financial statements and regulatory reports for the firm's funds, encompassing both domestic and offshore master-feeder fund setups.

Responsibilities:
Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Compile quarterly SEC, quarterly CFTC/NFA, and annual CIMA regulatory reports.

Create investor-specific monthly reports and promptly address investor inquiries.

Perform monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.

Manage audit deliverables and review formal communications from auditors.

Incorporate consolidation accounting across various legal entities into specific reporting deliverables.

Evaluate reporting thresholds for compliance and portfolio constraints for individual investors.


Qualifications:
BA or post-graduate degree in Accounting (CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus).

1+ years of relevant financial services experience (hedge funds or private equity experience a plus).

Knowledge of fixed-income securities (including bond amortization), derivatives, complex financial instruments, and master-feeder structures.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail.
