- Lead and oversee supplier interactions related to injection molding matters.
- Review drawings, assess tooling, and suggest enhancements for increased productivity, quality, and manufacturability.
- Aid in developing guidelines for injection mold tooling and collaborate with the Supplier Quality group to establish standards for qualifying injection molded components.
- Offer knowledge and market insight on injection molding to cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth supply chain.
- Drive supplier transfers for injection molded components to enhance quality.
- Address complex supply chain issues while managing risks effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and mitigate risks.
- Adhere to and contribute to the development of Sourcing and Supplier Quality procedures.
- Collaborate with CPC QA department on part validations using specified methods.
- Work closely with CPC Product Management and Design Engineering teams to incorporate product requirements into new tooling initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or 3+ years of technical experience in injection molded processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with injection molded components is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD software for mold/part designs is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven capacity to work autonomously, multitask, and collaborate across functions.
- Approximately 10-20% travel within the country.

Position: Tooling Engineer
