Job Overview: Lake Minneola-Tiki Bar & Grill is seeking a Dishwasher/Food Prep team member, where your energy and attention to detail will help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll be ensuring cleanliness, organization, and timely preparation of prepped items necessary for service . This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing station and food prep spaces while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to support daily operations.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service.
• Support food handling procedures by following proper storage and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety.
• Follow all kitchen safety guidelines and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and basic culinary tasks is welcomed.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably.
• A positive attitude, attention to details, ability to follow instructions and staying on task is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
