    Position Overview:

    As an Associate Medical Director at Bloom Hospice, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional hospice and palliative care services to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician with a board certification in hospice and palliative care, or a minimum of two years of experience in hospice and end-of-life care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
    • Provide expert medical guidance in pain and symptom management.
    • Offer emotional support and communication to patients and their families.
    • Participate in the evaluation and admission of new hospice patients.
    • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the hospice program.
    • Mentor and support healthcare staff in providing palliative and hospice care.

    Qualifications:

    • Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (preferred).
    • Minimum of two years of experience in hospice and end-of-life care.
    • Valid medical license in the state of Colorado.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $220,000 - $235,000 annually with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits.
