    We are currently recruiting for a Strategic Sourcing Intern to support our Network Build Sourcing team and help strengthen Ericsson's competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks, and creating value for the Customer.

    As a Strategic Sourcing Intern, assist in Supplier selection and on-boarding and conduct Supplier negotiations and management on Civils/Macro construction projects for Network Build. You will implement sourcing strategies that link to core business deliverables while leveraging the marketplace and supplier community. You will learn and perform end to end strategic sourcing and stakeholder management functions, such as: analyzing third party spend to identify opportunities, developing category and project strategies, and managing the sourcing process (including, but not limited to, RFx, supplier negotiations, project management, contracting activities).

    Responsibilities:

    Business Analytics and Data Visualization:

    Create visualizations from analysis to be used by Sourcing LT for executive level presentations and discussions
    Identify statistical trends and suggest changes in process or commercial models to maximize cost savings and efficiencies

    Sourcing:

    Supports the sourcing process (RFx, RFI, RFP, reverse auction, negotiations), evaluations processes, and provides procurement support for Network Build Categories
    Develops and grows relationships with key Suppliers to support our growing Network Build business
    Utilizes the appropriate support tools to drive results and deliver savings
    Supports stakeholder spend / vendor related initiatives as needed

    Contract Management:

    Support the contract negotiation process, negotiating pricing, key terms, service level requirements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other performance and SLA metrics
    Manage the contract review process, obtaining the appropriate approvals prior to execution
    Maintain contracts for the assigned categories within the contract management tool on a continuous basis

    Strategy:

    Bring new ideas and current strategic methodologies to the team.
    Analyze category markets, assess risk, gathering intelligence on fundamental conditions and technical information that impacts the category. Develop sourcing strategies and category strategies based on market intelligence gathered
    Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies
    Monitor category purchasing reports and ensure compliance to policies and procedures on a continuous basis
    Identify and implement streamlined category purchasing processes and supporting tools

    Key Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's degree or working towards degree completion

    Commercial Acumen & Skills
    Financial Acumen & Skills
    Local Laws & Regulations Knowledge

    Additional Preferred Experience:

    Business Analytics, Sourcing, Engineering, or Supply Chain degree focus
    Knowledge of Telecom, Technology, and IT Business Concepts
    Applicable Work Experience
