- Specify and seamlessly integrate third-party equipment into existing systems.
- Craft precise PLC code for automated equipment and robotic weld cells, ensuring optimal performance.
- Proficiently program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and servos to meet project requirements.
- Utilize schematics and multimeters to troubleshoot electrical controls effectively.
- Actively participate in mechanical and electrical design reviews, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive I/O lists, cable sheets, and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Engage in risk assessments and evaluate safety devices to uphold industry standards.
- Provide comprehensive technical support throughout all project phases, including customer assistance.
- Travel to client facilities for equipment installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing electrical controls systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices.
- Proficient in Studio 5000 Logix design software, with a proven track record of successful project implementation.
- Skilled in working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens safety PLCs, ensuring adherence to rigorous safety standards.
- Experienced in navigating Yaskawa robots and Miller welding equipment, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Ability to proficiently develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts, ensuring efficient system operation.
- Familiarity with robot software and communication methodology, facilitating seamless integration and communication.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% to client sites, demonstrating commitment to project success.
