    Join a dynamic healthcare team in Tyler, Texas, as a Telemetry RN on a 13-week travel nurse assignment.

    This telemetry nursing job in Tyler, TX offers hands-on experience caring for adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and post-cardiac intervention care.

    Ideal for experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses and travel nurses with EPIC charting experience.

    Telemetry RN Job Requirements

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States

    Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience (telemetry nursing jobs experience)

    Previous travel nursing experience required

    BLS certification required

    EPIC electronic charting experience required

    NIHSS certification preferred

    Must not reside in the following counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring

    Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response/code situations

    Care for patients post-cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, pacemaker implant, and other cardiac interventions

    Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform blood product administration

    Document patient care and communicate plans using EPIC

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy

    Float to other units of equal or lesser acuity as needed

    Maintain strict adherence to infection control and isolation protocols
