    Job Summary:

    The Clinical Coordinator primary responsibilities of clinical site development and clinical site monitoring. This faculty member will work directly with the Director of Clinical Education, Medical Director and program faculty. He/she reports directly to the Program Director.


    Specific responsibilities include:
    1) Recruitment of APP's to serve as clinical preceptors for PA students
    2) Develop and implement clinical training for preceptors.
    3) Provide oversight for the clinical rotation sites
    4) Review (and revise as needed) instructional objectives, responsibilities of clinical preceptor, and expected competencies of physician assistant students with clinical preceptors
    5) Participation in end of rotation call-back days
    6) Assist with didactic teaching and student evaluations.

    Additional responsibilities include:

    1) Participation in program continuous self-assessment process and annual program evaluation
    3) Participation in student admissions committee
    4) Participation in student promotions committee
    5) Participation in graduation ceremony

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Current New York State Physician Assistant license or eligible, Current NCCPA Certification, Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a
    minimum of 3-5 years clinical practice experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Prior education experience preferred

    Monday-Friday
