    Description

    Summary:

    Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Front Desk department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned
    • Provide check-in, check-out, and reservation service to all guests and callers.
    • Answer all telephones at Front Desk and route calls and/or provide assistance and information to all callers.
    • Promote the hotel/casino and all of its services and facilities while maximizing occupancy and ADR.
    • Process daily reports, reconciliations, journals, etc.
    • Check Bus Groups in and make keys as needed
    • Assist in the preparation of commissions for OTA and Travel Agents.
    • Handle guest complaints
    • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    Position Requirements

    Qualifications
    • Minimum of one (1) year of Front Office Supervisory or related experience
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (all software components), payroll, and hotel information systems (LMS)
    • The primary language spoken is English; ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
    • Verify right to work in the United States

    • Frequently required to stand for long periods
    • Use hands to hold tools utilized for position
    • Reach with hands and arms
    • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
    Work Environment Potential Conditions

    The work environment is characterized as a hotel/casino setting requiring multi-tasking, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud requiring service to guests who may be smoking and/or drinking alcohol. The work environment is a smoking environment in the building.
