    Overview

    We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to provide high-quality care in one of three flexible practice models:

    • Hospitalist: Focused on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including emergency response, deliveries, and surgical interventions.
    • Clinic-Based: Outpatient OB/GYN services with a focus on preventive care, routine checkups, and long term patient relationships.
    • Hybrid Role: A combination of both hospital and clinic based responsibilities.
    Responsibilities (Varies Based on Role Chosen)


    For Hospitalists:

    • Provide in house coverage for unassigned or emergent obstetric patients, including evaluation, treatment, admission, and ongoing inpatient management.
    • Respond to OB and GYN emergency cases, including walk in patients, triage calls, and consults within the Emergency Department and throughout the hospital.
    • Perform surgical interventions as needed for unassigned gynecologic emergencies and provide surgical assistance to attending OB/GYNs upon request.

    For Clinic-Based Physicians:

    • Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, routine exams, and family planning services.
    • Manage gynecologic conditions in an office based setting with access to in office procedures and diagnostics.
    • Develop long term patient relationships and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.

    For Hybrid Physicians:

    • Balance inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to ensure continuity of care across both settings.
    • Split time between labor and delivery coverage, surgical cases, and outpatient clinic visits based on preferences and organizational needs.
    Credentials

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    • Eligible for Delaware medical licensure.
    • Strong commitment to team based medicine and patient centered care.
    Education
    MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
