Setting up the instruments and equipment required for the surgerySterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgeryPreparing the patient for surgeryPassing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operationTaking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies before the operationRecounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operationMaintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgeryQualifications and

Skills For This Position:

Candidates must have at least one year of on-the-job CST experience, ideally experience in these specialties: general, pain, ortho, spine, plastics, bariatrics, ENT, sports medicine, robotics.

Possess a professional and friendly personality, and enjoy working with people of all ages. In addition, candidates must demonstrate strong organization, self-motivation, and multi-tasking abilities. Finally, discretion and integrity are of the utmost importance with all interactions. Current rates are $34-$42 with opportunities for bonuses. As market rates change, many facilities will update to stay competitive on the platform.
