    Position Title: Project Manager

    Status: Exempt

    Department: Project Management

    Reports to: Manager Project Management

    Location: Peachtree City, Georgia

    Position Summary

    The Project Manager is Emsere's point of contact & representative towards his/her customers. He/she is responsible for internal communication with involved departments and managing relationships with third parties to generate repeat business.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Setup, maintenance, and finalization of his/her projects within the organization
    • Create, following-up and completing deals, quotes, and budgets for existing customers
    • Create and monitor current contracts
    • Monitor the customers' budget
    • Monitor the continuity of projects by ongoing reviews and amendments when required
    • Responsible for the documentation and progress reports of the current projects
    • After sales and following up on possible complaints
    • Can delegate tasks to Project Assistants, while supporting them in the execution
    • Client relationship management
    • Detect customers' needs, allowing for business growth
    • Increase the turnover, by offering new services and products to existing customers
    • Collect strategic industry information by following customers' responses
    Maintains Project Management and Departmental Standards by:

    Read, understand, and adhere to company procedures, policies and standard operating procedures ("SOP's")

    Maintain current knowledge of new trends and innovations in the field of project management evaluate their impact and suggest improvements

    Ensure compliance to applicable safety and security standards, procedures, and policies

    Additional Responsibilities
    • Participate in and sometimes perform on-the-job training (OJT) as required
    • Participate in annual recurrent training specific to duties and other training as recommended by the Distribution department and/or management
    • Contribute to the departmental key performance indicators (KPI)
    • Participate in daily and weekly meetings conducted by department and management
    • Actively participate in environmental, health and safety processes and procedures
    • Communicate on a frequent basis with internal and external stakeholders
    Authorization
    • Create/edit Master Service Agreement, Statement of work and Change orders, after consultation with the contract manager
    • Create/edit request for proposal
    • Create - or delegating the creation of - sales invoices for assigned customers
    Qualifications
    • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalence working proficiency through extensive documented experience
    • 3+ years of relevant commercial or project management experience, preferably for a (global) Contract Research Organization or in a B2B service environment
    • Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS excel, etc.)
    • Basic understanding of key financial terms
    • Ability to work independently with little supervision
    • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Proven ability to delegate responsibilities
    • Strong communicator, self-directed, motivated and goal oriented
    • Basic understanding of quality management, specifically ISO9001
    • Basic understanding of GxP guidelines and regulations, specifically GDP & GCP
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    Working Conditions
    • Lifting and Carrying: Able to carry up to 10 pounds on an intermittent basis
    • Hearing: Corrected hearing able to respond to emergency alarms, alerts, and warnings Ability to hear via telephone, teleconference, and work-related conversations
    • Pushing/Pulling/Manipulation: Able to push and pull items in the workplace
    • Sitting: Able to sit and work in front of a computer or other machine for extended periods of time
    • Squatting/Kneeling: Able to squat and kneel as needed to retrieve or place items on low shelving
    • Standing: Able to stand for extended periods of time
