- Provides assessments and psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, children and/or families using evidence-based practices.
- Conducts intake evaluations.

- Currently enrolled in an APA-accredited psychology doctoral program leading to a PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical, Counseling, or Health Psychology.
- Must participate in the national APPIC application process prior to applying to Kaiser Permanente.

- Successful completion of practicum placements.
- Candidate has advanced to doctoral candidacy status for PhD, PsyD, or EdD in clinical, health, or counseling psychology in an APA-accredited program.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment using standard psychotherapeutic methods.
- Previous experience in working with Adult and/or Child and Adolescent populations.
- Successful completion of practicum placements in an outpatient mental health setting.

Description
Job Summary:This position is designed to meet all requirements for psychology doctoral internship and follows the guidelines as set forth by California Board of Psychology, APPIC and APA. The Psychology Intern will be provided with clinical supervision to obtain experience in a mental health setting. Internship is based in the department of Psychiatry. Position provides a minimum of four (4) hours per week of individual and group supervision. In addition, didactic training is provided. Primary supervision is provided by licensed psychologists. Position is 40-hours per week, one-year, temporary with benefits.
