    Title:Software Engineer


    Job Description:

    Design solutions and enhance existing features of the enterprise platform from inception to implementation. Collaborate with functional and cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet development initiatives based on organizational needs. Assist in leading projects and overseeing a team of seasoned software developers.

    Demonstrate a pragmatic approach to software development process where appropriate technological choices are considered within the needs of the business.

    Build effective working relationships with the technical leadership team and business. Serve as mentor for more junior team members.

    100% telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the US.


    Other Job Requirements:


    Must have a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering, plus 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a substantially similar position.


    Required experience must include 2 years of experience with all of the following: utilizing object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, Java, and Angular; utilizing hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) and RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs); performing responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3 (including LESS and SASS); writing and optimizing native JavaScript (ECMAScript6+); working with JavaScript frameworks, including: Angular, React, Vue, and ExtJS; working with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and optimization; working with Linux/Unix and scripting; obtaining and maintaining server-side scalability and performance; and building scalable web applications built around micro-services architecture.


    Salary:
     $110,000 per year

    Work Hours:     9 AM to 6 PM
