Job Summary
The APP /Surgical First Assistant (APP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team.The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) functions as a member of the primary surgical team. This requires management of all aspects of patients from admission to discharge including first assisting in the operating room. The APP will likely see the patient pre, intra op, post op and in follow up.
The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education and ensuring an environment of safe quality care.
