    Sanford Chamberlain Medical Center is a 25 bed CAH, with an attached LTC and Clinic. Located on the scenic Missouri River, along I-90, Sanford Chamberlain serves two reservations in addition to 3 surrounding counties.

    Job Summary:
    Responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership to maintain standards of patient care. Implements the vision, mission, and strategic plan of clinical services and the system.

    Assists in the development, planning, and implementation of a systems approach to improve and maintain standards in clinical patient care, patient safety, and health outcomes.

    Maintains communication and addresses the rapidly changing healthcare environment in which clinical services are delivered across the system. Leads the development and execution of clinical programs, policies, procedures and protocols ensuring system integration and adherence. Monitors operations of nursing staff and ensures compliance with regulations on organizational and governmental standards and practices.

    This role over sees all nursing in the hospital.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    ER, Med Surg, OR, OB, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, Trauma, Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory, Tele Respiratory Services, and other Tele health services.

    Will have approximately 80 individuals that report to this role, including a dedicated administrative assistant.


    Census:
    The census is calculated annually. The average daily census is 8.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in nursing. If hired without bachelor's degree, must obtain the Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire date.

    Best candidate has five years nursing experience. 5 Years management/leadership experience preferred.

    Will need an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing. Must be willing to get all certifications such as BLS, TNCC, ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.
